Traditional Farms Tour

EARTH University and PEP provide opportunities to gain hands-on experience in community development by offering activities with local farmers and community members. Such activities include horseback riding, visiting a nearby waterfall and gardens, exploring the forests, learning about natural medicine and arts and crafts. PEP participants can choose to stay overnight at the one of the traditional farms to gain further insight into local community farming.

PEP's links to the neighboring communities promote collaboration and the exchange of experience and knowledge. In addition, PEP implements training, research and educational tourism activities that have helped hundreds of community members improve their production systems and businesses.
